Anne Marie Madziak is a consultant with Southern Ontario Library Service and the coordinator of the APLL Institute, a two year certificate program in public library leadership. Over the past 20+ years, Anne Marie has developed and delivered a wide range of learning events and programs to meet the needs of public library staff. These include face-to-face, online, and blended. She has also taught in the M.L.I.S. program at Western University. Anne Marie was a driving force behind the
SOLS Competencies Index
for public library staff in Ontario. She advocates competencies-based staff development as an important means of linking individual performance to organizational priorities.
